my results are not even worth posting! however, that's my own fault for rushing with the pic and entering it when really I shouldn't have. I love the item in the picture, but I guess it's not everyone's cup of tea, which is cool. My other half has just bought a Nikon D70, so that's what I'll be using from now on and I'm hoping that'll help with the quality of my pics! He said to me he would never see the camera again..... hee hee Am heading off this weekend to capture a pic for the framed challenge.... wish me luck lol

What kind of comment is "I don't think this is beautiful... nice try."? I know that we are all entitled to our opinions, but if you are going to go as far as to tell me that my picture isn't beautiful, TELL ME WHY! Maybe it's just this challenge, but I feel like that's just the same as saying the picture is just ugly. Am I wrong?
Ok... sorry, just had to vent. |

Oddly enough, I think this will probably be my strongest score (5.2+), but I have a feeling it will place in the lower half of the overall selection scores (previously I placed in the 60% with a 5.2). So overall, it will probably still not compare to my highest score because of the strength of compeitition (and make no assumptions - there are some fantastic shots in this challenge. So, I find myself in a dilemma... Do I embrace the score I get (based on my own evaluations of it being a pretty good shot) or do I dog myself (based on negative comments received - although there haven't been any yet - :-)). Any and all cmments are welcome... THh

I got the exact same comment. As far as I'm concerned, it is not helpful in the least. Oh well. Matches my 'not a clear decision' comment. :)

| 15 comments.. score's up a bit; I'm satisfied. Not a top 10, 20, 30 type score, but the comments are nice, and the 1 fav is nice, too :) Given how amazing some of these shots are, I'm just happy to not be in the running for brown. |

| Regardless of your scores, you all deserve kudos. I just finished voting and this challenge certainly lived up to its name. I have never given out so many well-deserved 8, 9 and 10 votes or so few low scores in a single challenge. Well done! |

It's a comment, and frankly, I think you should be "happy" you got one. If you don't feel it's constructive, don't mark it as helpful.
I feel the amount of bashing against COMMENTS in the forum lately has been very NON-CONSTRUCTIVE. Just my two rupees.

I left a few comments which said that I didn't think a photo depicted beauty, but I really hope I explained why in each one!
