Hi-ho folks...

Seeing as a good number of folks have shared their business card designs in previous threads I thought I'd share these, I've just done the design, and I'm having them offset printed on glossy card. I'll just randomly hand out all three, as I couldn't decide on a single card.. :-).

The odd marks in the top left corner are the crop marks for the printing firm.

Of the three, I like the last one, but not fond of the fonts and layout of the contact info or the "Digitial Photography" text the way it currently looks although I do like the concept.

Also, I would STRONGLY urge you to get a better email address.

:-). Ahhh, so you like the picture of the L series lens...

I happen to like that email address, but you're right I suppose, it dosn't really say 'photographer working here'. :-).

The history of the domain is that one of my old businesses was called 'The Trashcan BBS'. A bit of nostalgia for BBS users here.

Thanks for the feedback, next time round I'll spend a bit more time on the layout etc. I did these in a hurry, as my old ones were just laser printed on blue cardstock, and looked truely terrible. I need some for Next weekend, and the printing takes 4 days.

Cheers, Me.

Uh, no... It's really a crappy lens. My advice would be to donate it to, um, say... ME! ;-)

Post again before you have your next round printed and you'll get some sound advice from several people. Oh, and you'll get my advice too. ;-)

ask any professional photographer and marketing person and they will tell you all the same thing.
Have a business card professionally made, designed, and printed with your Logo.
Then, stick with that 1 card, its called branding, if you always change, people will think you are unsure about your focus and could choose against you because of it. Once you have a logo everything should represent it, letterhead, emails, website, business cards, etc.

now go and do it!
it pays off...

I'm using two different cards. I just ordered 1000 each of these.

I also don't care for the "digital photography" line.. everything else looks fine...

Jmsetzler's: very nice clean design, simple, elegant and very effective.

John,
I like your cards, clean and simple. Great layout.
