Canon 24-70 f/2.8 L
Canon 1.4 Converter (MKII)

Nice collection...

Out of curiosity, have you got any shots with the bellows online?

I had a bellows for my OM4, and found that I could never get quite what I thought I saw in the viewfinder on film. That probably dosn't make sense, but I know what I mean. :-).

Cheers, Me.

I too have struggled with the bellows, and find it hard to cope with the dof. This is an out of the cam image using the extenders.

edited to say - its a one pound coin

I've had similar, if not better, results holding a magnifying glass from a swiss army knife in front of my coolpix 4500 lens. :) I don't have any examples available right now.

glad to hear it Nick, and the swiss army knife has so many more uses as well, must add one to my collection!

Andi, I know it's difficult to house that many family members under one roof, so if any of them need a place to stay, I'll gladly take one or two for you. Especially those L types... you know how temperamental they can be. ;o)

Great collection you have going!!! :o)

lol Riggs, 38cm with the hood on. And sorry folks I'm not letting any out for adoption! though the 17-40 might be up for grabs if I plum for the 10-22 sometime.

Yeah, that's the sort of thing I was getting... No matter how much I stopped down..

The other problem I had was that the DOF is asymetric around the focus point when using the bellows.. So you got odd effects as well as the general OOF look.

Cheers, Me.
