Today in my Home county of Gloucestershire - UK
the tempearture has just hit 29 degreet c (84F for you over the pond)

That blooming hot for Blighty......

Was 105F here in the shade on Saturday (40C)

Reminds me why I moved from England...

thats all?? it gets warmenr than that where I live (houston, TX) in the spring time:)

But on the other side it does not really get cold here. we actually had some snow back in december which is a VERY rare occurance. SOme people made a killing selling Houston snowballs on ebay.

Amazing what moving 200 miles closer to a swamp will do for you...
It was about 110 in the sun on saturday though. Not fun running

because these temperatures are a rarity you will find very few homes in the UK with Air Con.

Boy do I wish we had it now...

90F with 70% Humidity

Thats feels hotter than 110F @ 4% humidity to me. I went to Las Vegas in 1991, August. When we got off the plane it was 110F. It was hot but more comfortable than this humidity thing we have going on here in the south.

I wonder why people always say "in the shade". Temperature is always measured in the shade.

Aye, it is meaured in the shade
but I find that it does not hurt to remind everyone, just for clarity.
