Yeah.. kinda laughed at that part meself.. Well, it's not like the "sample photos" in low-end camera ads are actually taken with it anyway...

EDIT: That oughta be some good publicity. Would like to know if anyone contacted you after seeing that photo :)

How long did it take before you heard from them after submitting the photo?

Wow guys, what a great feeling! I mean, having a photo displayed on Times Sq is great, but having so many friends here is just awesome!!!

I don't remember exactly, but I think about 2 months or so...

Nah, i don't think it gives much in terms of publicity beyond DPC and my friends' circle (kodak won't allow a website link or e-mail of a photographer to associate with the photo on their website). But it gives me bragging rights ...priceless :)

OK, Lev - let me get this straight...
All you have to do is take a really great photo, submit it to the Kodak competition, have it chosen over who knows how many hundreds of photos to win a POTD, watch it displayed on a huge screen in Times Square, let all your dpChallenge friends know about it - and that makes your day???!!!!
