well i used to say robin williams...he is to me so interesting funny and intelligent...then i posed this same question to my 18 year old son...his answer blew me away and i will pass it on to you...

(we are from the usa)

Alex(my son ) said he would like to sit down with the signers of the declaration of independance....he would like to show them where we have gone with their ideals....find out what they had truly hoped to happen in this new country and how they felt about what we had done..together figure out what might have been done differently and new ideas they might have for our future.....

Wow. I could find at least 100...I'll limit it to 10:

1. Plotinus - I want to know the fragments. All of them.
2. Zeno - a great person to debate with.
3. Gilda Radner - A great woman to laugh with.
4. Carlos Casteneda - the stories he could tell
5. Wallace Stevens - Imagery, Imagery, Imagery
6. Octavio Paz - The words...
7. Chief Joseph - spirituality unleashed
8. Salvador Dali - his huge personality
9. Jesus - I really want some answers
10. Elvis Presley - well, he might as well be at my party.

I already have enough people to cook for and clean up after... so if I invite anyone else, they better be either a chef or a maid. ;o)

I'd go for the infamous ones..

Gengis Kahn
Alexander the Great
Stalin
Lenin
Hitler
Pol Pot
Saddam Hussein
George W. Bush both senior and junior

and I would poison them all hoping that all their evil deeds would become undone :)
