I was trying to find that bird picture thread, but couldn't. Anyway, here's a few bird pictures I shot, one of a gull on dome driftwood on the Mississippi, one of a macro of a Canadian goose (Man, he was peeved at me for chasing him around with a camera--he went on the offense and took off after me! Those suckers are mean!), and one of my own little guy, Spargel, wearing his diaper. He was laughing when I hit the shutter. Thoughts? Others to share? Feel free.

Yes, you read right, that's his diaper. It doubles as a leash so it serves two purposes. I can take him on shooting excursions with me without worrying about the wind catching his wings and giving him lift. That actually happened once, and scared the 'ell outta him and me both! Anyway, he's quite a good little assistant. His favorite job is holding the lens cap for me, and has quite a bit of skill at doing so!
The diaper's second function, being a diaper, is to keep his (frequent) droppings off my camera equiptment (and rug, and bed, and couch, and....). Quite a handy little invention!

| that picture of your bird is just too dang cute! I didn't know they made such a thing as diapers for birds. I've always loved the looks of them but they scare me...as I've been around a couple and they were very grouchy! |

| Great shots cody, but your parrot with a diaper takes the cake! Good ol' southern ingenuity, gotta love it. Oh, and was the macro of the Canada goose feathers his idea or yours :3) |
