I'm a little slow this week, I've been working a lot of overtime, so you will have to humour me. For the Granular challenge would things such as grains of rice, pebbles, toast crumbs =) count as granular? I'm just not getting if it could be a granular texture, or if it has to be things like sand, sugar, etc... Not to start a pre-challenge debate - but the definition of granular is escaping me.

yup...

grain (wheat, rice, oats, etc.) sand (dust, dirt, tiny pebbles that float on water), spices, powders, granular crystals (salt, sugar, excepting methyl-aphetamine as that violates the DPC entry policies))

lol I know grain is granular, but is it granular in the sense of this challenge.

I'm making no sense. Would you believe I just tried to drink my pepsi out of a bottle with the lid on? When nothing came out I threw it in the recycle bin beside me because I thought it was empty. It's a brand new bottle I haven't even opened it yet.

At this rate I won't even be awake to take pictures by end of day.

OK lets all laugh at Being Clever, whose name is obviously tongue in cheek. ;)

Lol, I once poked a hole in the lid of my coke bottle with a pen because I got tired of taking the cap off. Works well. :)

Here's a grainy Triangle out take. Wonder how grainy shots of non-granular subjects will fare?

Not well I think!

The topic:

Take a photograph in which your subject is granular, such as powder, sand, salt or dust.

The subject of this photo is a very nice young female body and it is distinctly NOT granular...

Robt.
