If this has been asked before I apoligize. Everytime I look at who's online there is always a guest that has been there for a day or so. Why? What can they do for so long? I was a guest for about 2 min. then registered then was a registered user for about 2 days before I bacame a member. Also must be another glitch because saracat and Xilebo are online twice?

| Hi rex, - they probably have a left their computer on overnight with a browser window open. I know I do that all the time - fall asleep before shutting down my laptop properly. I'd say the same thing probably goes for people who are online twice - two browser windows open. |

| I don't know about the browser window staying open...I just checked and for me it shows I've been online for 2 minutes, yet I've had DPChallenge open (logged in) since around 7:15am. Should show I've been online for a little over an hour...??? |

| From what I recall from a forum a while back, is that connection is ended after I think 5 minutes of inactivity. So if you see someone online that long either they are broswing that long (wow, now that would be a record) and/or they have some kind of a tool to auto-refresh the browser every so often? ... good question!?! |

| Someone is probably using an automated tool to poll the site, most likley to keep up with scores. There have been at least two users over the years that have written tools to do just that. |

edit:I mean, not illegal as you can't stop people from doing it obviously, but is that a violation of TOS?

How can a guest keep up with scores?
As of now in the who's online menu......
