One of the better Bumble Bee shots from a bunch I took the other day using a Tamron 28-300 Macro.

I had this fly trapped buzzing around in the bathroom, so I put a drop of honey out and maneuvered him over to it where he started slurping it up.

heres mine... this fly was so fast that my intent was to take the photo while he pearched on the leaf. he flys so fast that when I pressed the shutter he was sitting on the leaf... flew a circular path (captured here) and landed all in 1/500 of a second...

This is cropped and resized, the pictures look far better when viewed much larger. The prints of these I made at 13 x 19 are stunning. I will probably add more to the portfolio as I process them. I am still taking images though. I have a small collection of kaleidoscopes. Some make for better pics than others.

Image cropped round, resized and corners filled in black. Macro mode, zoomed to 3x, lense up agaisnt the kaleidoscope.
