Haven't read the rest of the responses but... travel is my main hobby, closely allied with photography. Husband has learned to love both too over the years.
If you're into landscapes, people and animals you can't beat a trip to Africa - whether you opt for Kenya and it's wide open savannahs, colourfully clothes Masaai and great wildlife or South Africa with bushveld, fantastic wildlife, cities, mountains, people, seascapes...
Peru is an absolutely incredible feast for anyone into history, culture, ruins and people.
We loved the photography on our recent Antarctica trip though it's mostly scenery, penguins, seals and more birds.
