That's great! But... people keep mentioning that site, and I go to look at it, and every time I wonder how on earth a photography site could be that badly designed... bleh! The photos are high quality, but the site itself makes me shudder.

Yeah, I guess we are kinda spoiled here. I think the same thing about deviantart.

deviantART is a good site, but the size of it all makes it very confusing for new people.

Congrats jakking :)

Congrats, Jak!
Nice work.

Ageed, Lisae, re: the design of that site. Don't like going over there.

Congrats Jak!

I have to wonder though. On your Pbase account you have richly colored version of "Two Windows" that has a marvelous tone on tone orangey thing going on. And in my opinion the BestFoto shot seems rather dull by comparison. (Don't get me wrong... I just like the "adjusted" image better... it's a great shot, period.) Do they not allow a certain amount of image adjustment on their site?

Just curious.

Thanks for all your kind words. The image on my pbase site is Two Windows v.2. I had previously submitted the original, unsaturated and unaltered version to BestFoto and so chose not to submit the second version.

I much prefer version 2 although the saturation is too much for some.

Many thanks again.
