It still amazes me that there are or have the appearance of teams taking the same pictures. In this challenge there are at least 4 teams that are taking the same picture, same subject. I guess no problem with the rules, afterall it's just for fun. But it sure would be great for everyone to try to be original. We can all learn more from the different subjects and techinques. I guess when teams shoot together then we can learn from them on why one is so good and the other not so good.
Holding at 6 with 20 votes. Interesting rollercoaster on this one. ;)

Not so sure: certainly, in relation to the London photos , I have seen several of the same two buildings. When taking photos for the challenge, I took pics of each. I think that the same buildings are being used because they are quite obvious triangular-based buildings for those who are looking, rather than because people are necessarily going out shooting together.

So far, so good, but before the number of votes gets above 150 mark, there is no point in either getting depressed or excited about the score. I like my picture anyhow, so the final score is not that important for me (albeit a ribbon would put a smile on my face ;-) ) |

i have skimmed the entrys and noticed that every one of my ideas were used at least twice! my personal entry was used by two others. i was so syked about my entry toooo :( and i guess I'm not gonna make my first million with this entry..darn it ;o)

ok ...I CAN'T SCORE THE TRIANGLES!!!...i am so nervous...slippy put too much pressure on us...what if i am his downfall....what if its me that causes him to drop below a.....(buzzmom checks slippys post) ohhh....a 4.9???? never mind pressures off..

LOL, maybe, but I like my entry much more. I'll just have to be patient and wait for the bumps. I'm confident I'll end up at that perfect 10 yet! Voters are just getting a feel for the submissions, the lay of the land.

i was aware my entry for Triangle would be open for discussion regarding fitting the challenge
i must have thought to get away with it because its a hell of image
but no way..no mercy is shown
they right away started throwing rotten appels at me
3.7
oh well
i ll get over it |

I'm in the same situation my triangle was a bit week but it was a great image. My reward 3.9 I I started with a 1 this is my roughest start ever.

| Dont feel to bad...I have no less then 50 triangles if not more and I am getting hammered so go figure. |

It think the scoring is low in this challenge because everyone is preparing to give the proper spread with my image, so the results will eventually end up with mine at a 10.0 and everyone else at a 1.0.

Not sure where your image is at in voting...but I thought it was a 4.7 or so last time I read...maybe that is a 10 in this challenge. |

I have it some one forgot to tell me this was an inverted vote challenge the bottom three scores will actualy be the top three.. whew and I was begining to think they didn't like my picture..

I'm right there with ya smilebig4me... Damn this is disconcerting! LOL I thought I really had a good one this time too (and yes 2 other people used the same idea, but mine was so much better - LOL!). Oh well, there is still lots of time and this has been the most bizarre early voting I've seen. There are a lot of entries so there will probably be a lot of votes to bring up those less than optimal starts (a comment or two would be nice as wellâ€Â¦).

i have reconsidered my position on this challenge...i know that i need to get alot more experience to achieve above what my scores have been...now that slippy has appeared to be sitting in the cheap seats with me i feel more comfortable in my voting...

Oh so that's the story here! I was a bit worried really... this is definately going to be my lowest scored entry ever!
But I don't care a bit! I had a lot of fun taking it (and for that I owe all the thank-us in the world to Tristalisk here), and I really don't care how it ends. The fun will remain longer after the votes are over. |
