Aww, how sweet! I don't have a picture but I do have a story to share:

When my parents had a place in Montana they had an electric fence around the pastures and if you grabbed it with your hand you got quite the JOLT!! Seldom did you ever grab that fence twice! Well, Gale also has electric fences around her place and normally when I am filling water tubs I turn it off so if I have to reach through the fence to get the tub I don't risk getting shocked. Well, I was filling the water tubs on the side and knew that if I needed to get to them I could just go through the gate which was not electrified, so I did not turn off the fence this time. Well, James was with me. And he has grabbed the fence before with no results because it was always off! Well, I went towards the car to check on something and suddenly there is this HOWL coming from the pasture area where I'm filling the tub. James had grabbed the fence with his left hand and got a JOLT! Poor baby! Tears running down his face, holding his hand out, crying and saying, "OW!! OW!!!! FIX!!!!" So I scooped him up, kissed his hand and told him, "I'm sorry baby, I told you the fence was on and would hurt you today!" He turns, looks at the fence and says, "BAD FENCE!" I agreed and put him down. So what did my brilliant BLONDE son do at this point? Walks back over to the fence and grabs it with his RIGHT hand! ROFLAMO!!! Again, the scream, the tears, the holding the hand out and I'm just cracking up. Kara was there and asked what happened and when I told her she also cracked up. My son, the rocket scientist, NOT! :)

Have a wonderful day, I'm going to bed now so I can be awakened to soggy cereal and cold toast ;)

Love,

Deannda

Thanks for that. Reminds me of my childhood, family dog, grandparents farm, electric fence, dog's nose touching, backward somersault in mid-air!

Wish I had my Rebel 300D then. :)

My 10 year old son asked me the same question. I told him everyday is son day and only one day a year is it mothers day. He was satisfied with that answer. :)
Thank you scott for the lovely floral arrangement

Lisa- I am satisfied with that answer, myself!

It's the best 'job' in the world, the most satisfying work I've ever done.

Have a wonderful Mother's day to all of us who've endured labor and delivery, adoption or otherwise!!! text
