It's interesting... Part of the appeal to this site for me has been that there are photographers from all over the world, however I completely forgot my audience with my last challenge entry:

For those of you that were wondering, $5.15 is the federal minimum wage for the United States.

I'm American and I didn't get it ; ) (been too many years since I was working for mimimum wage)

I think I remember "getting it," but as the last time I was permanently in the US was 1999, I'm absolutely stunned that $5.15 still is the minimum wage. Where's the revolution? Higher minimum wage protesting? Etc...

I'm not interested in starting a rant :)
