Here's some outtakes, which are just different crops of the same shot that clearly indicate I didn't put enough thought into this entry. Comments, feedback, trash-talkin' welcomed.

Entry:

Outtakes:
. . . .

And for Links 2 3 4, who thought it would be cool to see a kid in the side window, here is a pic from over 10 years ago of my son kissing his older brother through that very window (collective aaawwwhhh).

And here's the view from those chairs:

And the view from the back of the house:

Thanks for all the comments. Next free study, I'm going to the zoo. :)

To Me, Absolutely stunning, I love it. Your photograph has great range, the lighting is spot on and not one blown highlight. But it goes beyond that. You are showing us were they sit to see a wonderful view instead of showing us the view itself. Very inviting to see a photograph such meaning. And the colors, I cannot say how much I love the contrast between the chairs themselves and the house. If I would of got to this photograph during voting I would of given it a 8. If I could have had the access to what the chairs were there for and the view one could see from them it would of scored a 10. I wish it would of scored higher because there is more in this picture than meets the eye. IMO you picked the right photograph. Congratulations and get a print of this one.
Scott W.

I like this one because the chairs become stong focal point than in the wider angle picture.

I loved your picture too. I looked at it for a long time and pondered why it made me feel so happy, as you can read in my comments. I wanted it to score higher, but there was some pretty stiff competition going on. Congrats on a great pic.

Oh, I see. A vulture made you feel happier. ;-)

just kidding. I do appreciate your comments and you are correct about the competition - daunting! Thanks so much.
