Boy am I glad the People challenge is over. My photo took a beating. My lowest placing so far. That's OK I like it anyway.

There was some interesting voting though. My bell curve was more of a spike.

No 9s, no 10s, no 1s.

174 of 237 votes (73%) were 4 or 5. Hmmmmmm???

This image has potential. Brightening the colour of the woman's shirt and desaturating the background could give it some impact. Now, if she was wearing a red shirt that may even be better.

The pink on the bulletin board is a bit distracting.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining about the result of the voting. I didn't expect it do do very well. I just thought the voting was interesting. It apparently didn't have much of an effect on voters one way or the other.

BTW it was not posed. I just snapped it while she was talking on the phone.

... and the composition is good. All I was saying is that it has the potential to be even better with just a little bit of post processing.

Hmmm... Let's see if I can come up with an original and clever term for your voting pattern... Got it! How about "Unparalleled Mediocrity" ?

LOL

Yeah. After I saw my mistake I couldn't edit the title. I was wondering how long it would take. You win.

I, on the other hand, went crazy with my post processing. Actually, I was very sick at the time and edited it really fast and didn't notice I had totally overdone the dodging of the highlights. Based on comments received, which I totally agree with, it lost me a lot of points. Way to go ruining a perfectly good photo. :)

DannyM: I liked your photo. Would have voted it higher if you had titled it "Killing Spree." :)

Thanks for the helpful comments. I have a lot to learn about Photoshop.
