Yeah, I got to the first stage and realized the one constant but then I started working on a pattern that was again too complicated. I was at least able to guess some of the answers once I got that first part. I could always get the 0 correct.

What's so damned funny now is that I showed it to the other developers and systems consultants on my team this morning and they're off on WILD goosechases. Some are parsing RGB values; every one of them has at least one sheet of paper with series of numbers down them and pencil scratchings of notes. Its just too funny to see gearheads go at this one.

No, it's brilliant. A great, great little puzzle to show hopw we defeat ourselves with our thinking processes sometimes.
But yeah, it's stoopid too... jejejeâ¢

Simplicity... If they are talking about roses/flowers... draw one by hand... stare at it and try to relate it to the dice...

Took about 5 min. Deceptively simple. If you think too hard you'll never get it. |

Click on the blue circle to start:
The rules are:
Click on link then click on blue circle. Use the rules below.
This is going to do your head in, but it can be done. I've worked it
out.
For those of you who are not going to even understand the rules (you
know
who you are) get someone to explain them to you.
Apparently this is an IQ test given to job applicants in Japan:
"Everybody
has to cross the river".
The following rules apply:
Only 2 persons on the raft at a time
The father can not stay with any of the daughters without their mother's
presence
The mother can not stay with any of the sons without their father's
presence
The thief (striped shirt) can not stay with any family member if the
Policeman is not there
Only the Father, the Mother and the Policeman know how to operate the
raft
To start click on the big blue circle on the right.
To move the people click on them. To move the raft click on the pole on
the
opposite side of the river.

Shadowangel - that one is pretty tough. Took about twenty min to figure that one out. Lots of violence in the process. :-) |

woohoo I don't have flash player on my work PC. So I don't have to go bald figuring it out. As an engineer I would guess this might prove a problematic puzzle. All I do is use mathmatical formulas all day. this one might have proven fatal.

are you shure that number is correct.. that is if you score well.. I rarely score lower than 170 even thoug all the tests are in english and that is not my best language..
I got the test in the first try.. after taking the test I started to wonder why those dices were there ;) |

Just mentally run this simple C program in your head and you'll get the answer. :)
