Does anyone know if Microsoft Access can have a field that holds a jpg image that can be displayed in a form?

i've defined fields as ole objects, but i've never used access forms or reports for using them. i've always used other programs for loading the images in and displaying them.

i just tried creating a form using the access wizard, and it didn't display my ole field.

Be careful when loading pictures into Access. If your database becomes bigger than 2 gigs you'll crash Access. You should use link to original file if possible. Use Hyperlink field type.

You have to be careful loading images into any database. Depending on the application you may not have a choice, but avoid it if you can and use references to the image instead of storing binary data. How I do it anyway.

I've stored thumbnails in a mySQL database, but never with Access.
