| Does anyone know if Microsoft Access can have a field that holds a jpg image that can be displayed in a form? |

i've defined fields as ole objects, but i've never used access forms or reports for using them. i've always used other programs for loading the images in and displaying them.
i just tried creating a form using the access wizard, and it didn't display my ole field. |

Be careful when loading pictures into Access. If your database becomes bigger than 2 gigs you'll crash Access. You should use link to original file if possible. Use Hyperlink field type.

| You have to be careful loading images into any database. Depending on the application you may not have a choice, but avoid it if you can and use references to the image instead of storing binary data. How I do it anyway. |

I've stored thumbnails in a mySQL database, but never with Access.
