Nearly watching James Bond on the television and was playing around in Photoshop.
Any comments welcome.
I quite like it.
Thanks

Beautiful shot! I'm not crazy about the border, but that is a personal opinion. Beautiful color, definitely worthy of a great print. |

I like the shot a lot. That white/grey border has got to go. |

I like it...the border adds interest.

There seem to be some kind of weird blurreed grey line artefacts in it - joking, of course, but making the point that the 'bordering' looks like an error, rather than a decision. A good, peaceful, beautifully processed image otherwise. |

Here is the shot un-edited.
Just thought i would try something with the borders that i had never tried. Worth a go, even if it didn't work

Would be a lot nicer if it was a solid border instead of a soft one. Possible a black frame all around instead of a black, white combination. Image is very well captured.

Another sunset from the same trip
i considered this one for the open challenge, but i'm sticking with the totally different one that i took a few days ago
What do you all think?

Even when a thing does not work it is worth a try. If nothing else you learn something new that can be used effectively elsewhere.
You will never know when you hit on something great until you try it first. Other people make those judgments.

I would make the center borders black and 1pt white lines inside - no blur. Very nice colors.
Hope you don't mind. Maybe try something like this...

Not sure about this, but is it good enough to go on DPC Prints?

I like this one much better than what you posted earlier. This shot interests me, but the other one didn't.
In this one there's a nice mix of curves and lines and colour that make me want to analyze it. I like it a lot.
