How do you???

Does the picture need to be a certain size?

You have to wait till tomorow. Images can only be uploaded to a thread between the hours of 9AM and 5PM EST.

No, I mean in general. I've never posted an image in a thread.

Rick,

First, you have to have the photo uploaded somewhere on the Internet. Once you have done this, there are a couple ways you can do this.

- If the image is less than about 30k AND less than 500 pixels wide, you may use the button to link to the image directly. You will need to paste in the Internet address of the image into the dialog box that comes up (note: this is the address of the IMAGE ITSELF, not of the page on which you view the image. The address should usually end with .jpg).

- If the image is larger than about 30k OR more than 500 pixels wide, please use a link instead. The link can be created using the button.

There is also a way to use a thumbnail. If the image is not hosted on DPC, follow
the instructions linked to in nsbca7's 2nd post. You will need to have both the image and the thumbnail uploaded. If the image is hosted on DPC, use the button.
