Oh YES! It Works! I think it is wonderful work. I love the soft focus in front and behind the flowers in focus. I love this photograph and I can't stop looking at it.

Me too Gordon, I think it works, and works well. Lush, rich, light, focus!

Justine, I loe the daisy yellow and how they can of answer/ballance/talk to each other. Maybe a little bit lower in the frame ? But I like it a lot really.

Gordon I like you field of flowers .. I have been dreaming of taking pictures like that recently ..

Bod I like 'Sprung' and the 'flower in prison' kinda feeling.

And swash .. I am impressed by your picture ... not sure I like it, a little too 'strogn' to my taste but it's a high impact flower shot.

I have never been than much into flowers , bought my lily last week and discovered (I know maybe that's obvious) that make a very nice flower shot is really more difficult than I ws expecting.
And by the way there is a nice article about close up lens on 35 mm lense that is interesting ( Gordon you might be interested in it even if you have a macro lens)

These are my first tries .. comments and advices for a flower-photo-newbie very welcome !

Just a few flowers

joanns: I should have looked further. You have a simple grace in your flower photos that is relaxing and stunning at the same time!
