Greetings... Here's another photo for open critique...

C'mon John..find some weak photos or truly controversial stuff.

All this high quality stuff I can't pick on :-)

What do you want to hear..great contrast, great depth, great subject matter, simple and entertaining....what more do you want?

It's not BB King...

I do not think that BB uses thumbpicks, I think he uses standard picks, and the hands look too thin. If it is a famous person, I would say Chuck Barry. But I think that is a long shot.

I think this is a pretty nice shot, I played with the midpoint adjustment, and like it better a little darker, and some of the whites are getting close to being washed out, but those are monitor differences.

I do not think I could offer any improvements. It would be nice to see this as a large print.

I would like to know the story behind this one.

The guitarists name is Charlie Bristol... he's 81 years old...

I love it. Great contrast and tonal range. The only complaint i have is the end of the guitar is too closely cropped for my tastes. A little extra space would have been my choice... matter of personal taste though.

Awesome pic!

I didn't think a big name would be playing a Lucille, but chuck was the first impression I had. Not sure if he ever uses thumbpicks. Is this yours John? It has a digital feel to me, but I cannot tell for sure. Is it?

I think the story on that one is answered throughout the thread :)
