I would like to thank everyone for voting and commenting on my Light On White entry:
Gerbera in White
This entry holds sentimental value and it was very nice to see it finish as well as it did. My uncle, Carl Hoffman, chose this photo out of the 100 or so I took for this challenge, as his favorite. The next day (2/26), he was admitted to the hospital. After a few days there, we decided that rather then putting him in a nursing home for the last days of his life, we would bring him home. Everything was set up in one day (3/2) and he was to come home the next afternoon. Unfortunately, he passed away at 2:01 am on March 3rd. I had been avidly watching my score until then. We went right to New Jersey to take care of the funeral arrangements and I missed the end of the voting. It was a wondeful surprise to come home last night and see how well this photo had done. Therefore, I wanted to thank everyone for scoring this so high.

The Gerbera becomes an everlasting memory to him.
When you view this entry remember him how his true character was and always remember him how you saw him.
This is a nice story that we all can draw something from. |

Sorry to hear of your lose. I am sure he will still be helping you on your photo's though.
