I might be able to make the 9th. I plan on going down the 8th, but if it rains on me, I'll be down on the 9th regardless. Please PM me your Cell Phone, so I can try to catch up with you guys. I won't be able to do lunch, but hopefully I can locate you guys if I'm down.

We look right on schedule for the weekend guys! Hope like heck that the t-storm predicted tomorrow can't do much damage.
Weather for Saturday should be cool (59) and partly sunny. It should be an awesome day! Remember- meeting is gonna be 11am at Union Station. We'll meet up near B.Daltons, by the revolving doors.
If you think you would like to meet up with us, PM nova. He's got the contact info, and my cell number. I'm working crazy insane hours this week and may not be easy to reach. So just drop Mini Me a note. ;)

i am heading up from richmond EARLY sat am, and hope to make dc a bit before sunrise. planning on ditching the car in springfield or alexandria.
if anyone needs/wants a ride and wants to go early, let me know. or, if you want to meet up earlier than 11am, let me know as well. |

Okay, so here I am at 12:30 in the morning preping for tomorrow and catching up on household chores that I seemed to have procastinated on. My thinking.. Crap, I'm still stuck with my Sony F707, I need to move up in the world.
It's all good, as I am in rare form tonight and I am actually speaking. I will be there tomorrow if it kills me, I'll explain when I see ya'll
I went down on Wed. to the basin to look for a few shooting spots, plan is to go down around 6:00 for sunrise and shoot the horizon over Jeff. mem.
Oh yeah.. and bad news.. I will have to take off around 1 or 2. I may be able to extend it a little longer, but I need to be back at home before 3:30. I'll shut up now.. Goodnight all

wow! i can't believe i'm the first one to post anything up, especially since i just got home after driving two hours...

What a great outing! Exhausting, but great fun. The weather was absolutely perfect, the cherry blossoms were everywhere (as were the people), but best of all was getting to meet a great bunch of DPC regulars. Thanks guys for an unforgettable day. -Ray

Well, I got back last night, and was going to post, but I figured without some pictures... people would kill me. Well anyway... no pictures yet.. processing RAW takes a while.. and I am lazy...

What a great day, yesterday! Wonderful seeing some of you again and meeting a lot of new members and from near and far and of course, gods 1 and 2. Sorry I got lost or something...but I enjoyed the entire day none-the-less. Here's some of what I've done so far.
