I've finally got the flights etc all booked up, so I'm definitely gonna be in DC 8th - 13th April! :D
Oh, and as for eateries, anywhere with beer is good (as long as the beer itself is good)... :o)

There's always room for more. :) We may revise to an earlier meeting time, say 10:30/11ish. I'm reviewing the planned events for that day. The parade will be starting at 10:30.

These are the confirmed/I'm sure they are coming barring acts of god or the courts. Or the USAF. ;)
The date- April 9, the time 11am at Union Station. First off, lunch at Cap City. And I do need the rest of y'all to confirm so I can call Cap City and make sure that we can all get in for lunch. Cause I'm not even gonna try for dinner reservations this particular weekend.
After lunch we will meander our way through Chinatown, down to the National Mall, and then around towards the Tidal Basin. Detours to the WW2 Memorial, and Monument Triangle area possible. The high point event- Sunset at Ye Olde Tidal Basin.
Bring yer tripods boys and girls. :)

Okay- I'll be calling Cap City on Wednesday to make sure they can accomidate all of us. Your deadline for letting me know if you plan on being there for lunch is Wednesday. If you aren't on the list I can't promise that we can squeeze you in for lunch. :)
Everyone on the confirmed list will have a spot for lunch. :) So check the list! :)

I'll be interested in coming...I can do 8th or 9th...I'll fly back to NY on the last flight on the 9th and hope it's not cancelled or...Go from DCA instead of IAD :)

I need a yes if you want in on the lunch reservation. Keep in mind, this is probably the biggest tourist weekend in DC during the year. I need to call Cap City no later than Wednesday to confirm the table.
If anyone is planning on coming and is not on the confirmed list, I will assume that you do not want to do lunch. Please, please do not assume that I'll be able to wiggle you in at the last minute.
For those bringing spouse, significant others or Langdons (in the case of Drew), let me know if your other will be joining us for lunch. :) (Lang, I'll go ahead and assume that you do indeed want food. ;)
