I have heard that left handed people are creative. I was wondering how many people on here are left handed. I am left handed but i am waiting for the creativity to creep in. :o)

I write with my right hand...but have always done everything else with my left... (sports, games, drinking, shooting, etc)

I heard the same thing you did...that left handed people are creative. ....

I am left handed for some activities, such as writing, but throwing or catching a ball must use my right hand...mixed dominance.

It is also true that left hand people do not live as long, how's your heath.
I was left handed but my folks thought that was some kind of handycap so they insistent that I do everything right handed. Now I am still creative but instead of it coming out good it comes out bad.

Well sorry "Southpaws" its seems that the camera industry only makes camera's for "Righthanders. Have you ever seen the shutter release on the left side? This is particularly true of Nikon camera's. What do you think. Oh yeah, I am right handed and left brained...

I am so left handed that, whenever possible, I use a remote for my shutter. Can't even trust my right hand to do that right.

my mum was left handed and she used to get belted across the knuckles for trying to write left handed. My hubby is also left handed.

My health is ok. I have heard we usually live 7 yrs less than everyone else on average. :o(

I am left for writing and some things, but use scissors and do other things like throw a ball in my right hand, so I'm a bit of both.

lefties use the right side of their brain, that is the creative/intuitive side.

I also read that this is good for sensing things (EG: 6th sense)

A left handed camera....there you go! Actually that wouldn't be such a bad idea...they do it with fishing poles...and I fish left handed! I hold my camera 'different'....I just had a gentleman this weekend show me how to hold it (which I had seen in books) but it doesn't 'fit right'. Now if the shutter was on the left and I held the lens with my right hand under..that doesn't feel awkward....strange how the body responds to stuff like that....

My father got beat on the knuckles at school when he was a kid for using his left hand. He lived to be 84. Every child in my family except me is left handed. We're all creative.

Add being a Virgo on top of being left handed and you got a mess like me. Super critical and analytical to boot.

I'm a lefty. But as many lefties, I can be somewhat ambidexterous. For example, around 1981-2, when the IBM PCs and microsoft mice were first introduced, I shared a PC (and a Lisa) with someone who was right handed, so rather than always move the mouse, I learned to mouse right handed. Now I can only mouse right handed. But I do most everything else lefty. I am now trying to learn to play ping pong right handed (gives my kids a handicap).

My son is also lefty, but he's learned to do more things righty, like bat.

I̢۪m a bit ambidextrous, mostly right and a little left, which leaves little talent on the right but just enough to mess up the talent on the left side of my brain. Cursed!

LOL

i remember my mum telling me that the school thought she was evil and that is why they hit her. Being left handed does have its down falls. I have to make sure i have a fine point pen otherwise i smudge, scissors are a pain too. I could go on. :o)

That's funny, I tried pulling that one on my wife while playing darts...problem is I can throw darts either hand. Still whoop her.

You want to have a lot a fun with your kids, switch hands with the ping pong paddles while playing...messes with their heads...
