A little warning woulda been nice... Don't know what NSFW is supposed to mean, but I don't see any value in that link as an "interesting photography site".

I think I have to go throw up now.

That dude laid on the dirty ground completely freakin' nekked on NUMEROUS occasions. I think he has a serious problem to be honest. You simply aren't allowed to be standing on a boat completely nekked like that -- there could be kids around for god's sake.

"well done"

Huh? I cursed myself for scrolling to the bottom.

Just what we need, a frikken Kenny Rogers lookalike going around butt nekkid toting an assault rifle. And the guy is selling framed prints. That is too funny.

shhhhh...don't let my mama hear you say that...she ADORES Kenny Rogers and thinks he's a...oh, how did she put it? Oh yeah...a "silver haired fox." ;o)

I thought Nick Nolte was in jail.

Somehow silver haired fox did not come to mind in my tour of this eccentrics site. He had a good idea but then obsessed with the "if it can be done, do it" sydrome plaguing technology. Less would have been better. Not quite sure what his message was, but can't blame the coast guard for the boarding party. I'm suprised the paddy wagon with the nice men in white coats didn't show up.

NSFW = Not Safe For Work. I wouldn't have known, except another site that I frequent (fark.com) uses it quite often.

'Interesting' isn't the word I would use... More like crazy-ass weirdo photos! I just went WTF?

Okay, I appreciate the quality of work here, but why did he have to be naked? :-)

And I don't think he looks just like Kenny Rogers - more like Kenny Rogers' and Nick Nolte's illegitimate love child.

i've never understood people's blatant and persistent objection to nudity. There's the ones who just can't stand nudity when it's in the case of a less attractive person as seen by the majority (--everyone's attractive to someone), and then there's those who oppose any and all nudity. Not just oppose it, but claim it makes them sick. What the hell is the big deal?

This photographer is a little obsessive, yes. He could have stopped his photographic experiment at one or two..but they're good photos--definitely original. The nudity only adds to the photos in my opinion, making them less typical.

Anyone seen Spencer Tunick's work? He's a fantastic photographer, but without the nudity, the extra step, the shock factor, he's just another portrait artist. A talented one, but not one that would stand out in anyone's mind. And it's not just the fact that there's nudity within his photos, but that it's captured in masses, and it's of regular people. Not models. That's what makes his work so spectacular. The spontaneity and vivacity of not one model, but tens, hundreds, thousands, getting together in public places, in city streets, in nature, and posing together without judgement. What a feeling that must be to be in one of his photos.

I just wish people would worry about more important things, fear more meaningful things than nudity. When you look at a nude photo, what exactly is it that makes you offended? Do you not see the same thing in the mirror every day? It's the body. The one thing we all have in common. Why not admire it?

Thjere was a great documentary film running on cable a few months ago on Spencer's project to shoot nudes ine very state, in public places. The interviews with the models are remarkable. The man's a definite original.

Naked States? If that's the one you'er talking about, i saw it back in 98(i think) on hbo and was left totally inspired. I not only love what and how he photographs, but the fact that he, without money, just toured the country in a van and went to both city and unknown town and simply asked people to pose for him. He pulled the whole thing off boldly, bravely and extremely well.
