I went to a place near Wolfville, Nova Scotia this weekend on a small little trip to go shoot some bald eagles (with a camera of course!). Here's one shot, but i dont like how they look when they're so small, so i'll just link to where i stored them temporarily. I'll probbaly make a page for them tonight when i get home from work.

Very nice! Is that eagle3.jpg picture of the adult eating it's own baby? It looks very much like that's the case.

No, actually. The reason this area has alot of bald eagles, is that it has plenty of chicken farms. In the morning, the farmers throw out the chickens that have died the night before, and all the crows, seagulls, and eagles flock to those areas. It's a big industry in the area, and so lots of eagles have made residence here. It's been said there's about 500 bald eagles in an area not much more than 10 square kilometers.

Really nice shots. I especially like the eagle about to fly. Also the window on the barn, the berries, the headstone...

there were so many interesting subjects this weekend, i just wish it weren't so windy and cold :) i would have easily taken twice the shots..

Great shots, can't decide if Ilike 2 or 3 better.
