I was fortunate enough this weekend to be invited onto a Peruvian Navy battleship docked in San Diego for a few days. Was given free reign to shoot to my little heart's content.
Have been working on sorting & editing what I shot. Here are a couple of my favorites. What do you guys think?

I like the dancing couple the best. I think all four pictures are great. I like them all and with my limited photographic experience , don't have anything to suggest except "Bravo, a job done v well !! "

The dancers is great. I'm such a sucker for those types of pictures. Motion and a feeling of celebration. The woman's posture is perfect. I also like the cadet picture. Thanks for doing the b/w.
How did you get the chance to go onboard? |

Hi All. Thanks for the comments.
A friend of ours has become friends with the Peruvian Consul. She got us the invite (my wife is Peruvian). We will be attending a couple more events, today & tomorrow, for the benefit of the sailors (at least some of them) on the ship, and I hope to be able to take pictures at both. Today is a private tour of a museum here in San Diego. Tomorrow night is a semi-formal dinner on the ship.
If all goes well, I may be able to act as the (more or less) "official" (read "unpaid")photographer for the Consul. I'll post more pics as I get them ready. |
