Is mirroring your image allowed under the rules (both basic and advanced rules)? In photoshop, this would be Image > Rotate Canvas > Flip Canvas.
I assume it would be within the rules, but then again, you know what they say about assuming...

Well...you can do it without making a selection, so I'm not sure.

It's the same as rotating canvas any other way, so it is within the rules, basic and advanced.

There was a Husband/Wife team that both won ribbons on the same challenge (can't remember which one - sorry), where two individual shots were taken of the same scene (some lake at dusk with a person sitting on a rock out in the water). One of the entries was flipped/mirrored to keep it from being obvious that it was the same location. Seeing how ribbon winners are validated I would say it's legal...

That wouldn't be these two, would it?
If not, those two look really similar -- same challenge, both riboners.

those are the two, and yes, mirroring an entire image is legal for both basic and advanced.
