Here's a chat room worth taking a look at...

DPChallenge Users

This chat room / user site is unmoderated and open to anyone who wants to join. This site has a chat room that performs very well over a modem connection, message boards, areas to post photos, and quite a few other features...

This is just an idea site... it may not stay around if there is little or no interest... check it out :)

Hey this looks cool! i like all the other features, including voice chat and picture posting areas, too :) ..

both chat options seem great, but I had heard that people on dialup had some difficulty with the other. this might be the answer to all their problems.

and furthermore, no one has to pay for bandwidth and server space for this one :)

I signed up but it's not working...is it for MAC users?
Does not list MAC in requirements : (

If you are having trouble loading the Yahoo! Chat chat rooms using Internet Explorer versions 5.x with a Mac, or if you see a small box (100x100 pixels) in place of the chat room, it may be due to problems associated with the Mac Java Virtual Machine (JVM)...

It says that chat should work on a Mac, but it says that voice chat will not work on a Mac... :(

This is a cool chat ! I love all the features and as you said...it won't take up server space :)

Am I doing something wrong?
It says windows in requirements , but does not mention MAC.
Any MAC users on it yet?
It says applet not initialized in the bottom left corner....?

Nope. Not working on my iBook, OS 10.1.2. Apparently, can't get the Yahoo chat applet.

Seems I can't get a Java VM for Windows XP, acc to the Microsoft Web page... any suggestions???

you can even integrate it with this site using jPilot's jIRC applet

i was in DPC Yahoo Chat... and i'm the only one there... people are still staying in Zach* chat... we should decide on one chat server I think. Yahoo is good I think.

I like the yahoo chat format too but it appears to not work so well for macintosh users and whatnot...
