Oh, and Jo Dee Messina's new song, "My Give a Damn's Busted" is my new anthem I do believe. ;o)
P.S. I do have a very soft spot for 80s music too... I could go on and on about that all night. Yes, I'm eclectic like that. |

Hmm...have to go hunt that one down. The title alone warrants further investigation.
OMG that's great! Wonder if Toby or Garth would re-record it so I can blast it out of my Durango with the heat on full blast, windows rolled down and thermometer reaching 30 degrees?

Last summer I got to see Jimmy at Fenway Park. It was a great "once in a lifetime" thing, but for sound quality, that park was not meant for concerts. Ya know, the funny thing is, after the Red Sox won the world series nobody, and none of the newspapers thanked Jimmy. When he played in September, halfway through the show he had a voodoo witch doctor come up on stage to "break the curse". It was a funny little skit and then he pitched "balls" (rolled up t-shirts) to Jimmy who batted them into the audience. I think he was 4 for 4. Then he announced the curse was broken. A few weeks later... history. |
