Hi all. I'm a new user here and I love the site.
I would like to share a few photos and would greatly appreciate any comments anyone has.
So far, I have only been able to show my photos to people who know me.
I would love to hear from anyone with a more objective point of view.
Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to leave a note or two.
Also feel free to check out my website.

Great photos, IMO.
What lens did you use for the bird photos? |

Both are great shots. But I really love the Cardinal photograph. We have them around here during the spring and summer. Could not help but noticed the there tags, was these taken in the wild or controlled environment. Just asking because it does not matter because they are great. And like Scottwilson I would love to know what lens you used. Also how far away, I can't get that close here because they fly away. |

The bird shots are from a nature preserve in (5 minutes from downtown) Buffalo, NY. I only noticed bands on the cardinals but I dont know who put them there. The cardinals, a downey woodpecker, and a couple of black capped chickadees were used to being fed and were very bold. The chickadees were even landing on our shoes! The closest the cardinals got was about 8ft. away. I used a 75-300mm IS lens for the bird shots. There are more (not post processed) on my website if you're interested. Thanks for posting and for the compliments. |
