I am still getting hammered by the two-second voters. I can tell by the comments that you really have to "look" to see the "illusion" (as people have called it) in mine. And if you don't see the "illusion", it looks pretty crappy.
I don't mind if you don't like what I've done, or how I've done it, and score me for that. But it just bothers me that perhaps people are just voting so quickly they don't even see it.
Yes, perhaps that's my fault for not making it more obvious. But I tried--I made it even more obvious than I originally had planned for that reason. In the art work I was imitating, it's far less obvious.
I suppose those are the people that aren't reading this anyway, but I do feel a little better for saying it ;)

Interesting... out of my all my 9's and 10's only two are women. Lots of 8's though. I think the guys really outdid themselves with this challenge. Well, everyone did really. There are some really great self-portraits in this challenge. A big "Well Done!!" to everyone. :-)

LOL, Awwww, don't let it affect your self esteem now, You know there are selfish voters out there that score others low so they can try stay on top. Thank god I'm not one of those people.

Mine keeps fluctuating from 5.5 to 5.3, it doesn't go seem to go any higher than 5.5....darn. At least my bridge is doing a little bit better.

Looks too weird to me!
I really don't think yours is that bad. As a matter of fact, I think I gave you 6 or 7.
By the way, I have just finished voting on all of the portraits and I must say that those are really wonderful.
I haven't been giving so many 8's and 9's and 10's in a loooooong time!
