How about at the beginning of March? or maybe start it in a month.

Spring in March? Must be nice. Let's do it in May. Currently I'd have to do some digging to find a pothole, the only definitive sign of spring in Calgary.

The trouble with seasonal challenges such as this is that in the Southern hemisphere, autumn is approaching (Spring starts in September there).

Thank you ClubJuggle... we don't like the thought of heading into winter yet - still enjoying the summer!

this is funny, It is nice to see how the weather is all over the world. It gets pretty warm in March over here, I guess the variety in weather wouldnt make this challenge possible.

It's not official but the real marker for the beginning of Spring, in North America at least, is tommorrow, Feb 15th. The thing that tells of the rebirth out of a long cold winter funk, the beginning of hope for a better season, the awakening of all good spirits in hibernation, the real harbinger of joy and enternal optimism is when Pitchers and Catchers Report.

Schools are opening two hours late because of the ice/snow that fell last night. Wish I knew that before I woke up. I'd have slept in. I don't have to work today either. So, the only person getting the extra sleep is my daughter.

Not fair! I have less than half the degrees you have.

We had a warm spurt, 8-12 C last week but now the temp. is back down in the minus teens again. brrrrrrrrrrrrr At least another 6 wks. before it "starts" to warm up here. :( We won't see any new growth until May.
