Pretty stable. Should stay above 6.0, which is the score I was hoping for in the first place. No comments either.

My first image over 6...hope it holds up. The good news is that is has been trending up all morning, yet still plenty of time to crumble.
Edit - Much better then my last image, which I thought was quite funny!!!

Really disappointed beacuse I loved the shot I took, if this score stays low this will be my first '4.xx' score in the last 15 challenges or so, what a bummer. I guess the image doesnt have that mass appeal.

Pretty much the usual. Started actually nicely, with above 6.0 average but have been sliding back to mediocrity ever since.

My entry was not quite last minute...but close. I had no idea until saturday and editeid it in about 30 seconds. I am doing a bit better than i had expected, proving you cannot predict teh DPC voter's action.

Since my faceless pic, which i really like, bombed (4.43 & 11% finish) I need a pick me up!
My 2004 pic is at 5.21. A tad above my 2004 average. If only i finish decently percentage wise.

I, too, started out in the high sixes, but have fallen, and fallen, and fallen. Still, it was experimental so I am actually quite pleased. Could have been brown ribbon material. I tend to dance of the edge rather than the mainstream in my photographs and my writing so I have no one to blame but myself. It's not like I don't know what I should be doing. Alas, (even though I don't yet own one) I am forever the rebel. Onward: one day I may just hit the right nerve. Who knows?

Not only is this my first photo ever to score over 6 (which is really exciting for me) but the comments I've recieved are great and its my second fav I've ever gotten. Im really psyched.

65 votes, 5.8154, no comments.
The last 4 votes have dropped it .35 and it continues to slide so I guess I'm not going to do well at all. I went for subtle which I'm quickly finding out is not a good idea at DPC. I love the photo though so I'm actually pretty happy, even if no one else does. |

A great challenge and the best I have seen to date. So many sixes, sevens, and eights, with a some memorable nines and tens! My entry 'pales' by comparison!

| I have not seen the images yet, but I personally wasn't happy with my submission as it is a last minute job just to get it in. The 4.8 average is better than I expected. |

Looks like it is holding up well. If I get in the top 50 or so I will be well chuffed as it will be in some illustrious company.
As others have said, this is the highest standard I think I've ever seen for a single challenge.

I just went through and made a first pass. Thee are soooo many good images, its going to be a high scoring challenge. My 5.89 is going to put me about half way I think ;-)

I think people may have been turned off by the full exposure of the mans legs... I used the same idea as you but executed differently, I placed a little higher, but got feedback that the pants should be down, I guess it's all a matter of opinion:
-edit: ...and Yes, I did know the person and she knew I was taking the picture :)

Of course you're in a downhill spiral. As people find out their photos aren't averaging "7" like they expected, it's time to vote 4 or 5 across the board. |
