I took these three about 15 min. ago in my home made studio I just made today...I will post outtakes with pics on that tonight...I do have to say I am proud of myself though. anyway, let me know what you cats think of this;

I like the "Snake Eyes" and "Seven" idea for the shot but I like this shot better:



Try a higher angle to prevent the blur in the foreground and stay close.
You may want to make a simple light tent and use two lamps or etc to light it for more even lighting and less shadows.

You can make a light tent or light box real easy:

I think the die themselves are well enough captured - but the surroundings/ background need some more interest/ context to them.

At very least, a green baze/felt cloth would be a start. To show you what I mean, here's a 24th birthday card I shot a couple of weeks ago.

Yeah pbase is being rebuilt today, so I'm not too surprised. It seems to be on and off at the moment.
