Cpattee: I think that the pencil shot that you submitted accomplishes everything that the outtake does and it's a better photo overall. Better lit; more interesting background to add interest. I looked for the details on this shot as this was one of the ones that stumped me. Was disapponted not to find any. How'd you do it?

McMurma: I prefer the outtake. In fact, I really kinda like it. The contast of the paper in the background changing from black to white REALLY adds to the photo for me. The pencil doesn't stand out as much, but that doesn't matter much to me. It meets the challenge. I like it.

Thx Dawn. You are the first person to like the outtake better than the submision! I kinda like it myself, and was sooo close to submitting that image over the other one.
