He's never all here.

'cause he's not all there? ;)

OK, so now I'm a Beatle who's not all there, knocking off rainbow-colored knee socks after painting my daughter green? My imagination can only go so far.

When I saw the thread title DPC's Most Creative I immediatly thought of Shannon. Kudos to jonpink for bringing this to the forefront. We can all learn from Scalvert's talent. Seriously competetive, witty and wise in forum posts and endlessly creative!

I was early to spot the the talent of Master Shannon. He has the ability to come through, even ast the eleventh hour and score a blue. His creativity overflows and he also has what i call a deftly eye to pick the winners. Hence, he applies his ideas to meet his criteria and look at the wide span of his creativity. Kudos to this soft spoken gentleman who will continue to amaze us.

The irony of this thread is that I rarely do anything creative at my office. We have 6 designers, but I'm the de facto photographer, copywriter, proofreader, computer technician and production artist... because I'm the only one in the office who can do those things well. The only time I get called in to the creative phases is when the other designers come up empty or we need something quick. Someday, if I can find a partner or two, I'll go off on my own (I'm no good at shmoozing). Until then, DPC is my creative outlet. ;-)

(I'm not trying to toot my own horn... I just think it's funny that my office arrangement suggests that proofreading and production are special skills, but ANYBODY can be creative.)

I think one of the best yardsticks of a DPC photographer's creativity, is the amount of fun I have reading the description of how they came up with the photo's they submit, and whether he's putting a t-shirt on the bottom of a creek bed or cutting out a giant mousehole Scalvert never fails to amaze in this respect.
