These things are sketchy sometimes. I paid $25 at the NY Photo show in October for a 3 year subscription to Pop Photo. Only becuase I followed up did I finally get the subscription starting with the March Issue.

I guess they are like rebates, Its a numbers game... they lose money on ones they have to deliver but a high percentage of people don't bother following up or forget

I got my first issues of one of the magazines from the order in about 5 weeks. I think they say that just as a "CYA" precaution, or for those that are shipping to Timbuktu, or if you wrote a check and it has to be mailed and cleared...that kind of thing. :o)
