I have voted a ten 88 times. One person got 3 of them, and ten people got a pair.
Here's something to ponder-
How many of the photographers that earned a 10 from you had a photo on your Favorite Photographs list?
Somebody remind me to take a screen shot of that page before I go over 100.

| I gave out 100 yet my average vote given is still under 5. Go figure. I also vote on all images when I vote on a challenge. I guess that is playing a role here. |

I gave out 1 - I have only given out a total of 4 10's since I joined in April 2003. That is out of a total of Votes Cast: 36146
It is my opinion that 10's are given much too freely here.
A 10 to me is what I consider a flawless photograph - something that cannot be improved on

Ditto that.
I only gave out 2 10's.
But plenty of 9's (and prolly 8's). Out of 6656 votes since late August.
I try to vote on all in any given challenge or rather skip voting altogether. It's far too annoying to see a photo on the Homepage which I didn't vote on.

In the 8 months since I joined
have cast 6523 votes
for an average of 5.55
giving out 33 tens
with gajmaj, labuda and moodville scoring 2 each

here since the end of august, but i come and go in spurts.
Votes Cast: 2224
I've only given out 4 tens though, i know my photos are nothing special but it's rare i see something here where there's not even one little thing that might make it better. There are plenty of amazing photos on this site though.

In 1524 votes cast, I have only given out two 10's, to these two photos:
 I can't believe I forgot to make this a favorite. It is now officially one of my favorites.
What I find interesting, is that most of you have been liberal with your tens, which may make me seem like a meenie having only given two. However, I have NEVER given a 1, and I may have only given out one 2. And my average vote given is a 6.0860, higher than a lot of folks here. So, I may not have give you a 10, but I've probably helped bump up your score.

| My list shows several 10's on pics that I've never seen (from challenges I didn't vote on), when I click on the photo, there are no red highlight showing my vote! What's going on? |

i gave out 45 10's in 2004--interestingly starting with jacko (curiosity) and ending with jacko (homage to russi). :)
i noticed that many of my other '10' recipients were fairly repetitive as well, including geewhy, sher, grigri, crabby, heida, pedro, sonifo, gordon, john setz, librodo, labuda, ursula, kosmikkreeper, arnit and ericlimon. some others went to kaske666, jonpink, jpr, mad-d, tyt2000, movieman, redmoon, giega and sagestudio. hm, i hope i got everyone. |

I've given 91 "10" votes out of 8713 total votes.
That's a mere 1% ! ! !
I would have bet $$ that my percentage for "10" votes would have been higher than 1%
