My Rebel Came! Im finally one step closer to living my dream...being a badass photographer! I am going to need some help getting used to this thing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've been reading a variety of books. One of the most helpful to understanding exposure and lighting is called, well - Understanding Exposure (by Bryan Peterson). I believe there is also a book out called "Learning to see Creatively" - can't remember by who.. but is supposed to be good as well. other than that, learn about all the features your camera has to offer.. and shoot, shoot, get critiqued, shoot, read, shoot, shoot, shoot.
p.s. get a tripod ;)
