Today I was out shooting for bridges, and there were some great sunbeams coming through the clouds in the distance. I tried to capture them, but even boosting contrast in photoshop doesnt show them as well as I could see them in person.
Is there any way to capture them well?

I have found that underexposing the shot seems to work best in that situation... usually two or three stops...
It darkens up the detail of the land but it allows the sunbeams to expose...
