I have looked and looked, but I cannot figure out how to stop PSP from opening a new session everytime I open a new image. I get an image in an e-mail and open it... boom one PSP session... I open another image... boom another session. How do I just get them to open in one session?

I don't have that problem. I have to copy any pictures and open psp. Right now my pictures use irfanview as the default viewer on my system but that program doesn't open automatically when I get a picture emailed to me either. Is it something you have set in your browser?

Not sure what you mean by the term session. But if you are trying to open more than one image at a time without opening another full PSP window, I am able to do that simply by going to Open under File and selecting them, or by clicking them in the Most Recntly Used list under File. Your problem may have something to do with PSP being designated as the default program to view JPG files. I use Windows Picture and Fax Viewer for that. You can change it by going to Preferences under File, and then to File Format Associations (read the Help dialog there for a better explanation).

Are you closing Photoshop, after you view each picture? Not sure if that's what you're doing- but if you are...once you open Photoshop to look at a picture, close the picture, but keep Photoshop running by minimizing the window...then open the next picture & it should use the Photoshop you already have open.

You need to either copy and paste the image into PSP or save the file and then open it in PSP. Just from what you said I'm guessing you are right clicking and then clicking open from the file or you have PSP as your default veiwer and it is opening up everytime you open a jpg.

I think he means that each time he opens an image file it opens PSP - even if it is already running, so he ends up with it running multiple times. unfortunately, I've no idea how to stop it, other than making it not the default viewer. You can always right-click and select PSP from the Open with... list after that.
