Looking for comments on my selection of the DOF for this shot.
wasnt really going for anything but this is where it took me.

Something does look wrong with this image. There are visible square patterns in the out of focus foreground...

Yeah unless this was done with a t/s lens (doubtful) I can't see how the entire surface of the liquid is in focus.

I think the DOF is really effective. The image as a whole remains a little uninspiring, but the focus is just great.
To second the earlier expressed sentiment... I need a dSLR! |
