Hi Tim! It is really cool to be able to see a bunch of your art in one place .. what an interesting and unique body of work!!
However, about the site itself, I feel, that since it's trying to showcase the photography and art, the color should be something other than a strongly saturated one that competes with the artwork you're trying to display :) ..
Also, I think it would be good to take into account some of the typography suggestions that have been made. There is a great book called 'The Non-Designer's Design Book' that has some really straightforward rules about dealing with type that I find that just about anyone can benefit from.

Well, why didn't you guys tell me all this stuff before I started! : ) Actually the background on the large sized images will be very easy to modify. But as far as the text goes, I kind of like it, so it's probably going to stay for awhile. I have to stand firm on something.

I third the comments about the darkly colored background. A nice light gray or off white would have helped your images stand out. Love the way they light up on mouseover. The centered thing should be easy to fix. Congrats on your site, the art is wonderful (including your photos which I've always admired).

Forgive me if I am repeating previous comments, I haven't taken time to read the whole thread...
I like the site overall and it seems to work fine on my PC (IE6).
There are a few design elements that bother me, I hope you don't mind me posting them - the site is excellent overall and I don't want to offend you. Anyway here goes:
I don't like the way the links at the left side are different on the first page to the other pages - feels inconsistent.
Also the position of the buttons moves around...! Sometimes Photography is last, then it moves up one in the list. That's really strange!
I don't like your photo thumbnails being colourized to blue. It's probably just me but I find it quite offputting.
I think the site would look better centred on the screen - I think you can achieve that using tables... someone else can (and probably already has) advise there.
When I go into Traditional I see a Next button so I click. When it takes me into a second page of images I see another Next button. That one doesn't do anything. Needs to be hidden if there is no Next page.
Custom Art can only be accessed via Contacts. If I don't know you DO custom art I may not even bother to go to Contacts... perhaps make it more prominent, as a link of it's own?
Anyway, it's a great site, and much more attractive than anything I've thrown together, so woo hoo to you!!
