I have an urge to try this. Some of the images you can get with it look to be very unique and incredible.

This was posted a couple of months ago... It looks like a lot of fun (especially the way the winds been blowing around here lately).

The remote release cable for your 10D might be a bit short for that.

I noticed one of the super stores was offering a digital kite flying kit for Christmas. You get the camera, kite and everything needed. More for kids but better than strapping your expensive baby to a kite. I think it was Target or Shopko.
