Hello,
I have been looking at Nikon lenses. I wanted to know if anyone knew the difference, (other than warranty differences obviously), between the USA and import versions? Thanks. |

There is really not a difference. They work the same. |

The only difference is the warranty. Typically if you buy an import lens, then you have to return it to the seller for repairs (e.g., bhphoto or whereever you bought it) as it will not be repaired under warranty in the US, but the manufacturer.
Also, there might be same differences with thread sizes on tripod mounts and the like, potentially (just a thought) but basic lenses are exactly the same. |
