We can currently receive notification that a new comment was made, could we also have it when a new vote was made? This would reduce the load on the site as many times I login to check the scores but there are no new votes.

that is a good idea...

(but this isn't)and if it isn't too much trouble, can we install a notification ding and a button to press when your score goes lower than it's previous average, sending a minor shock to the voter, and or/the entrant?

I click the "stay logged in" box and then I'm always logged in.

I just click over to look and no mess no fuss.

You could check your comments this way too. I prefer to log off and only login when there is something new :)

My counter-suggestion would be to keep the votes and scores completely hidden for everybody until rollover, saving people the unnecessary anguish of watching their scores go up and down when there is nothing they can do about it.

Naw -- then people aren't on here and checking forums. We need more participation, not less. I'd say just make sure the scores go up every time you log in. Then people would be on more often.

I'd put the shock feature on the update button. 😜
